Continued commercial and product strategy success for Cantiere delle Marche: 45m explorer yacht sold!

The sale of a new build Explorer Vessel based on Giorgio Cassetta’s designed and award-winning concept states continued commercial and product strategy success for Cantiere delle Marche. It confirms not only the acumen of CdM when it comes to product development, but also the strength of the long-term relationship built with a repeat client who knows CdM firsthand having owned a Nauta Air 110.

Having experienced the comfort, reliability and technical excellence of his previous CdM yacht, the owner chose to take the next step, moving up to a larger explorer vessel. This decision reflects a high level of trust in the shipyard’s ability to deliver yachts that combine robust engineering, seaworthiness and onboard wellbeing, even as size and complexity increase.

The Owner fell in love with the uncluttered purity of the exterior design and the generosity of interior volumes of Cassetta’s project that bring to a further level many of the characteristics he appreciated on the Nauta Air. Dialoguing with the Shipyard and the Designer, the Owner asked for a few important modifications that have been embraced in full and implemented in the design of his Explorer Vessel.

Speaking about the project, designer Giorgio M. Cassetta said:

“It is especially meaningful for us that this new 45-metre explorer is based on the concept of Tremenda, even more so since we learned that the Owners are returning clients of Cantiere Delle Marche. We have been entrusted with both exterior and interior design, and we are, as always, committed to meticulous research and the highest quality in our work. We aim to create a yacht that is consistent and harmonious throughout. The Owners envision a calm atmosphere on board, filled with light and warmth, and defined by purity and softness. I am personally grateful to everyone involved in making this project a reality, and I extend a special thank you to my team and the yard’s team for their proactive and swift approach to every aesthetic and technical challenge we faced throughout the final stages of the design. We look forward to sharing more about how the Owners’ vision, the Yard’s expertise and our contribution will shape another unique vessel.”

For CdM, the choice of an existing owner to invest again is one of the most significant endorsements possible. It highlights the consistency of the shipyard’s approach, where design, technology and craftsmanship come together to create yachts that fully meet the expectations of experienced owners. Opting for a 45-metre explorer yacht is not simply an upgrade in length, but a clear statement of confidence in CdM’s vision, expertise and capacity to support ambitious yachting projects over time.

Vasco Buonpensiere, shareholder and CEO of CdM, says:

“I will never get tired of expressing how deeply grateful I am to those owners who choose to place their trust in us once again by purchasing a second yacht built by our shipyard. This decision represents far more than a repeat order: it is a powerful endorsement of our philosophy, our craftsmanship and the passion that drives every member of our team. Knowing that our work has met the expectations of such discerning andexpe rienced owners is a source of immense pride and motivation. It confirms that our yachts not only meet but consistently exceed the requirements and aspirations of even the most demanding clients, and it reinforces our daily commitment to excellence, attention to detail and the creation of truly exceptional explorer yachts: definitely the key for our success and absolute leadership in our segment of the market.”
