The launch, a story in images

Cantiere delle Marche is recognized worldwide for its engineering excellence, its bespoke approach to shipbuilding, and an identity deeply rooted in the Marche region.

But every yacht that sets sail from Ancona carries with it also a story of hands, visions and materials: it is from this awareness that the photographic storytelling project was born, with the aim of portraying CDM not only as a manufacturer of explorer yachts, but as a cultural, human and poetic space.

The project brings together for the first time three renowned photographers – Francesca Tilio, Fabrizio Albertini and Gianni Cipriano – to build an intimate and artistic perspective on the moment of launch, the symbolic and ritual heart of a yacht’s life. The scope extends further: the photographers are also invited to explore the soul of the day, the details of the craftsmanship, the gestures, and the landscape surrounding CDM.

This artistic endeavor is not just an investment in beauty: it is a strategic tool to strengthen CDM’s positioning in the world of luxury and contemporary art, creating original content and visions.

It is a way to restore to photography its power of testimony and vision, and to bring out, behind every launch, the complexity and wonder of craftsmanship and human relationships.
