Flexplorer 146 Nasiba launched!

Cantiere delle Marche proudly announces the launch of Nasiba, the third unit of the successful Flexplorer 146 series. Built for young adventurous Owners, Nasiba reflects the core spirit of the Flexplorer line, bold, seaworthy, and infinitely adaptable, while bringing a highly personal and family-oriented approach to world cruising.

Drawing visual parallels with Maverick more than their sister ship Mat, Nasiba distinguishes herself with a wealth of unique features and layout across her four expansive decks, topped by a panoramic crow’s nest. A true ocean-going vessel, she was conceived to support an ambitious itinerary while providing a supremely comfortable and sustainable environment for a family at sea.

From the outset, the Owner was deeply involved in the creative and technical process, working in close collaboration with CdM and design studio Hydro Tec to develop a yacht tailored for long-term living and global travel. The result is a vessel that seamlessly integrates function, elegance, and family life into a platform designed for the open ocean. To handle large tenders and toys, Nasiba is equipped with the Flexplorer’s signature A-frame crane discreetly housed within a flush deck compartment when not in use.

As eco-conscious as possible: The world-renowned Winch Design, entrusted to design the interiors, delivered a serene, tactile environment centered around natural materials, soft tones, and subtle textures. The client is very focused on health and sustainability and enjoys being surrounded by nature. Using only natural, non-toxic, or eco-friendly materials, the Winch Design interior embodies the natural world, favouring practices that create low levels of EMF (Electromagnetic Field) and materials with low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) to deliver a clean-living environment. Earthy colours, matte surfaces and organic textures are used throughout, keeping mother nature at the heart of the design. To further support this vision, a Sustainable Material Manager has been appointed to control the provenance and characteristics of all materials used in the interiors, ensuring alignment with the highest standards of sustainability and health.

“The Owner envisioned a yacht that could take his family anywhere in the world without compromising comfort, privacy, or environmental responsibility,” says Vasco Buonpensiere. “, Nasiba is a perfect reflection of their approach to life. She is a bold yet refined interpretation of what the modern explorer yacht can be, one that fuses performance, comfort, and sustainability into a vessel designed to embrace the world’s most remote destinations with family at its core.”

“Nasiba’s Owners had a very specific and particular vision for this yacht, not just in terms of the capability, functionality and layout that would be required to take their family safely and comfortably on an around the world adventure, but also in the many unique technical and interior details that would need to be incorporated to reflect their tastes and meet their approach to living, health and wellbeing,” states William Yates of WSuperyachts, the Broker who introduced and represented the Owner. “With the support of the very creative team from Winch Design, and the capable Owner’s team, CdM have approached this with an amazingly can-do attitude. From the many steps taken to mitigate EMF, to the infra-red sauna, chilled plunge pool, and non-toxic and low VOC finishes throughout the interior, a good solution has always been found. Lastly though, the boat looks amazing!”

Designed for Living, Built for Adventure: At the heart of Nasiba’s design is a layout created with a young family cruising in mind. The yacht’s layout reflects a deep commitment to personal wellbeing, family life, and thoughtful living at sea. At its heart are the interiors, conceived as a retreat where a sense of calm reign supreme. What truly sets this yacht apart, however, is its bespoke approach to lifestyle perfectly reflected in Nasiba’s unique layout. It’s worth noting that Nasiba’s layout differs significantly from those of her two sister ships. Whether used for retreat, recreation, or reflection, the layout elevates the onboard experience far beyond convention, turning every space into an opportunity for enjoyment.

Beyond family-centric design, the yacht is infused with spaces that nurture the body and mind. From restful guest quarters to thoughtfully integrated wellness areas, every detail supports a lifestyle of balance, connection, and serenity. With plans to spend extended periods living aboard, the Owners have incorporated a spacious, purpose-designed room where their children can both learn and play in comfort. This dedicated educational and recreational space is a rare inclusion on a yacht of this class and underscores the family’s deep commitment to nurturing growth, creativity, and quality time together, no matter their location.

A Commitment to Sustainability: Demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to environmental responsibility, Nasiba is equipped with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system that ensures full compliance with IMO Tier III emission standards. The equipment’s setup is the same as Babbo's, which led to reductions with peaks of 93% NOx abatement. This technology allows her to safely navigate in ecologically sensitive regions, including marine sanctuaries. Equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines 746kW each, Nasiba will have a top speed of 14 knots and a remarkable 5500nm range at 10 knots.
