Two superyachts by Cantiere delle Marche are nominated as finalists from the prestigious jury of the World Superyachts Awards 2016.

Two of the Explorer Yachts by Cantiere delle Marche are finalists at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards which will be held in Florence this Saturday, May 14.

The Darwin Class M/Y Acala 102', which recently premiered at the last exhibition of Fort Lauderdale and the Darwin Class M/Y STORM 107', the protagonist of the latest European Boat Shows and already nominated "Boat of the Year 2015" at the Genoa Boat Show, will contender the recognition for best Displacement Motor Yachts below 500 GT from 30 to 41.9 m, along with other players of the international industry.

Ennio Cecchini, CEO of CDM comments: "Having two yachts nominated at the World Superyachts Awards after five years of efforts and growing success is already a great reward for all of us. We are a boutique shipyard which started focusing on a very specific niche market and we are now selling about 4 to 5 yachts per year to our great clientele: knowledgeable and experienced yachtmen looking for high quality, exclusive and distinguishing vessels. This is once again a confirmation that the vision we had when we started was very accurate and that having been consistent with our core values is paying off".

Vasco Buonpensiere, Sales and Marketing Director adds: "This is very exciting for all of us and we await the Award Ceremony keeping our fingers crossed: winning a World Superyachts Award would be a great way to reward our clients who have constantly supported us in becoming the key reference shipyard worldwide in our segment, and would give to our workers and employees another boost to keep on performing the way they have done until now".

The World Superyachts Awards are the most coveted prizes in the superyacht industry, and since 2005 they reward excellence in engineering, innovation and design of the best yachts manufactured worldwide.
